Flower essences are prescribed in a water and brandy solution and are taken orally as drops. 2 drops are to be taken under the tongue, 4 times daily. While they are usually taken for about 3 weeks, this duration can vary based on individual needs. Some remedies may be needed for only a short time, while others may be needed for an extended period. However, 3 weeks is the most commonly effective timeframe.

The brandy in the remedy acts as a preservative for the mixture. If you prefer or require a brandy-free solution, please let me know.

You may experience an intensification of feelings before you begin to feel better, although more often, you will notice a gradual improvement in the areas of concern and an overall sense of emotional well-being.

If you do experience a temporary intensification, it is typically short-lived, often lasting only a day. During this time, you might feel increased irritability, discouragement, or grief. If the remedy prompts the release of deeply suppressed emotions, this intensification can be more pronounced and may feel unsettling, disconcerting even.

There’s no need to panic; this response is actually a positive sign that the remedy is working. The intensity will pass, and understanding this process can help you stay calm and allow yourself to fully experience and process these emotions. A significant part of emotional healing is learning to let feelings exist without feeling threatened by them. There is beauty in feeling the full depth of our emotions, being able to observe them, but not being fully identified with them.

If the intensity becomes overwhelming, you can reduce the frequency of the remedy for a few days. After this initial period, gradually return to the regular frequency. This approach helps to ease you into the healing process comfortably.
